Welcome to Donaghy's Diaries.

I am a 23-year-old student currently in my second year of Marketing in Ulster University and as part of my 'Digital Analytics' module, I am required to create a blog on a topic of my choice. For my blog, I am going to take you on the journey with me that is being a mature student right in the heart of the Holylands. My aim for this blog is to break down the connotations and negative ideologies associated with people living in the Holylands and prove that we aren't all cut from the same cloth of tipping cars and partying until 6am. Some of us are in fact here simply because we took the scenic route to university, we want to have a bit of harmless fun and we're here to utilise one thing - the cheap rent. 

So I hope you enjoy my take on this, I will be diving in with a bit of humor and crack and hopefully at some point, give you a laugh with this light content or even a feeling of nostalgia depending on your age group because let's face it, we have all more than likely felt the wrath of the Holylands at least once in our lifetime.
